Abstract:
In this paper, the STMV beamforming method based on spatial reversion array (SRVA-STMV) is studied. According to the principle of spatial reversion array, the snapshot space of a uniform line array is inverted, and then convoluted with the snapshot of the original array to obtain a spatial reversion array with near double aperture, which will improve the performance of the array. The same method is used to construct the steering vector of spatial reversion array to realize its STMV beamforming. The simulation and sea-trial results show that compared with the conventional STMV beamforming, the SRVA-STMV beamforming can obtain narrower main lobe, lower side lobes, higher output signal-to-interference and noise ratio and better target resolution.
